Amusing, isn’t it?

When people decide to to make their imaginary personal worldview, full of invented enemies and slights, more important than the job they’ve been given, when they invent such grievances to cover their inexcusable and atrocious behavior, and actively obstruct better things that other people are working hard to create, then in one way or another the reputation of those who act so obstructively will, inevitably, suffer. As this link demonstrates, the capacity of the misanthrope to interpret the better motivations of others in the same cynical light that they live their lives is limitless.

Sadly, people like that go from acrimonious failure to failure, leaving an easy to trace history behind them. And I’m not only thinking of George Bush.

The marvel of the internet is, of course, that so many people are now free to counter that kind of cowardly mendaciousness with a clear exposition of what really happened. And while a low and secretive backstabber of the old school can only pour their poison in so many ears, a well crafted webpage can reach millions.

Yep, weblogs are great. And so whoever you are, thanks for reading! You’re helping make the world better.

A point well made, I think, don’t you?
